eFootwear is a family-owned and operated business with over 40 years of sales experience in the athletic footwear industry.
Quick VieweFootwear is a family-owned and operated business with over 40 years of sales experience in the athletic footwear industry. Originally called Brookhaven Sporting Goods, eFootwear has been a Delaware County fixture since 1982. With all his savings and a lot of hard work, John Elison Sr. opened a little “hole in the wall” sneaker store on Dutton Mill Road. Working full time for Conrail, John worked nights and weekends selling sneakers. In the beginning, it was tough for John and his wife, Theresa. The little “sneaker store” (as it came to be known by area residents) was minimal inside and out. A fresh coat of paint, a patchwork of remnant, carpeting on the floor and wooden shelves, built by John himself, was all there was to the store, but it worked! His philosophy was simple: buy the building cheap, fix it up to be functional, not fancy, and sell popular brands at competitive prices. With his savings, he bought the building, fixed it up himself and worked it by himself and his wife. There were no loans taken out and certainly no government help to get him started. His philosophy along with his determination and hard work paid off!

Cosyfeet started in 1983 with a simple idea – to make attractive, extra roomy footwear for swollen feet. Since then, we’ve expanded our range so now there’s something for everyone including ultra-comfy socks and hosiery, premium foot care solutions and innovative mobility products. We are a company that genuinely cares about our customers and their needs. We offer high quality products, that give value for money, along with a shopping experience that’s as easy and pleasant as possible.
Quick ViewCosyfeet started life in 1983 after its founder recognised a gap in the footwear market. His former business took him into care homes where he came across residents who were forced to cut pieces out of their footwear in a desperate attempt to fit them onto their swollen feet. He initially launched a range of extra roomy slippers and ran the business from his home in Bristol with a small mail order catalogue. In 1990, Cosyfeet was purchased by Foot Shop Ltd which is based in Street, Somerset. Since then, it has developed into a multi-channel retail company selling online and via a mail order catalogue as well as through independent stockists across the UK. It also has a shop at its headquarters in Street. Cosyfeet is highly regarded within the care sector and Healthcare Professionals recommend our products.

Ackermann Maple Farm- We first started our little sugaring operation in 2013, when we were full of ambition to make something off the land and determined to work for ourselves. We’ve since grown our business to 10,000 maple trees on 148 acres, and make roughly 5,000 gallons of maple syrup every spring.
Quick ViewAckermann Maple Farm knows that quality syrup is crafted from Vermont’s sugar maples. In the fall of 2012, Ian and Caitlin Ackermann enlisted the help of their family and friends to construct the sugar shack using wood sustainably harvested and milled by Ian himself. There, the sap that flows from just over 6,400 trees is heated using a natural wood fire, evaporating the water from the sap and drawing out the pronounced natural maple flavor Vermont is known for. Since the ages of 20 and 24, they have worked to promote Ackermann Maple Farm. The syrup is bottled and sealed in glass containers by Caitlin and Ian themselves so that they can assess and assure the quality of each bottle shipped. Glass containers are better for the environment and better preserve the syrup than their plastic counterpart for an increased shelf life.
