Innovet Pet Products was founded in 2005 by two undergraduate colleagues. They found themselves having to search tirelessly for innovative solutions to their pets health issues when veterinary services couldn’t provide an answer. With necessity being the mother of invention, they set out on a journey to create new solutions.
Ever since we started developing our pet solutions we’ve only had one mission in mind, providing pet owners just like ourselves with the most affordable and high quality solutions for their furry loved ones health, hygiene, and wellness. All of our products were developed with the modern day pet parent in mind and we emphasize by providing total product transparency so that you can completely understand our formula and get all the information you need to make the best decisions for your pet’s health. Odie Pet Insurance started with a problem we faced as dog owners, pet insurance was too expensive and too confusing. When searching for pet insurance for our two dogs, Luke and Summer, we were frustrated with the unpredictable and the costly premiums and the lack of flexibility to remove or add coverage as needed.

So when searching for pet insurance for our two dogs, Luke and Summer, we were frustrated with the unpredictable and the costly premiums and the lack of flexibility to remove or add coverage as needed. Our friends and family had similar experiences, and we were surprised how limited the options were for quality coverage that was also affordable. As it turns out, millions of pet owners across the US felt the same way as us. Most pet parents can’t afford to pay high vet bills out of pocket. We started Odie Pet Insurance to provide them with an alternative option. By taking three generations of our family’s specialty insurance knowledge and designing a pet insurance program in-house, we were able to directly work with our underwriters, carrier partners, and customers to create a more simple, authentic, and community-driven pet insurance product at an accessible price.
