Boarderie began as a family catering business in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 2021, we started shipping our oh-so-popular charcuterie boards nationwide. In the summer of 2012, our founder stood amid swirling smoke and half-cooked dough at a backyard pizza party—and thought, “There has to be a better way.” An engineer by trade and a tinkerer at heart, he set aside the umbrella drinks, grabbed his toolbox, and set out to solve uneven heat, excessive smoke, and runaway temperatures once and for all. That quest took him straight to Naples, where he teamed up with old‑school pizzaiolos who’ve been perfecting their ovens for generations. Between espresso breaks and late‑night taste tests, they nailed a design that hits 800°F‑plus, locks in that perfect char, and cooks your pie in under 90 seconds. The result? A portable pizza oven that brings genuine Neapolitan heat and flavor to any backyard or campsite.
